Abreast yourself to the political landscape, you won’t have it easy – Eugene Antwi tells NDC running mate

Outspoken Deputy Minister of Wirks and Housing Eugene Boakye Antwi has sent a love message to Running Mate to John Mahama, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang to be ready to deal with the nuances of the political temperature becaue she ain’t going to have it easy.

The Member of Parliament for Subin said in Metro TV’s Good Morning Ghana that “I pity the good old Professor, she has a difficult task because she is not going to enjoy the plush rooms she enjoyed both as Vice Chancellor of the Universality of Cape Coast (UCC) or as Minister of Education. She’s come to the rough road of Ghanaian politics thus she must be ready.”

He argued that the noise and ochestrated endorsement of the NDC running mate is over the bar as she ain’t the face to be on the ballot paper.
He said former President John Mahama has some questions to answer to the Ghanaian people, “Naana is not an issue at all becaue her name is not going to be on the ballot. John Mahama is the one who has a track record to talk about as a former leader of the nation and that’s exactly what we are going to do justice to.” He said.

He mentioned the areas to hold John Mahama’s Presidency accountable in the areas of Education, Health, Housing, Energy among other ancillary sectors of the economy.

He indicated that the NPP was not going to compare 8 years of Mills Mahama administration but John Mahama’s Administration and what he did with the mandate the people gave him vis a vis the 4 years of President Akufo-Addo. Saying, Akufo-Addo has achieved more and the NPP is on its way to win a 2nd term.

He pointed out that Jane Naana is not NPP’s issue , they are after John Mahama and we will scrutinize all his promises to scrutiny.

He called on his party the NPP not to address the Running Mate to John Mahama not compare her to Akufo-Addo or Dr. Bawumia, because she had not been president or Vice President before and rather pursue the abysmal record of John Mahama.
