Ace Ghanaian movie actor Kofi Adjorlolo is considering venturing into fishing after the Association of movie Producers placed a ban on him recently.
According to a source close to the actor “he will not apologize for speaking the truth, he is still acting because a lot more producers are not members of the association which makes the so called ban laughable. After all he could decide to take over his dad’s fishing business in Keta in the Volta region.”
Multiple award winning actor Kofi Adjorlolo recently went after recalcitrant movie producers who use talents and refuse to pay them.
“When I do work for you you don’t pay, Ghanaian movie producers don’t pay actors, about seven of them are owing me between Ghc1000,000 to 3,000.00 and they don’t want to pay me.”
He raised quite emotional issues with his journey from journalism into acting yet he has nothing to show for.
His accusation of the producers broke the camels back and decided to go after him. The association has called on him to apologize to the industry or put a ban on him.
But sharpnewsgh.com sources pointed out that Kofi Adjorlolo will not apologize to and association. He spoke the minds of most actors and actresses and for that matter he has their support. He will continue to act and if push comes to shove, he might take up his father’s business in Keta.
Father of Kofi Adjorlolo has fishing vessels in Keta in the Volta region.
