NDC is ready to face NPP on corruption debate any day – Kwesi Pratt

Managing Editor of the Insight Newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr has watered down attempts by elements of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) to corner the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) into one corner of corruption, saying the NDC is not afraid or running away from the corruption debate.

Speaking on Metro TV’s Good Morning Ghana, he said “NDC is not running away from corruption, in fact the NDC welcomes corruption debate any day anytime”

On the program with NPP’s Eugene Antwi who suggested that the campaign was going to be issues of corruption. This is to country and make light John Mahama’s pledge to fight corruption to the hilt if he won the next elections dubbing it as “Operation Sting.” But Mr. Antwi questioned the morality of john Mahama to talk about corruption when he presided over corruption, hence the NPP was going to make corruption a big issues ahead of the campaign.
But Mr. Pratt in his submission said he heard former deputy minister of education under John Mahama, Felix Kwakye saying “a member of John Mahama’s administration who was perceived to be corrupt was jailed and it has never happened under Akufo-Addo.”

Mr. Pratt exhaled that the corruption debate is going to be interesting.
